Tecla Accessibility Support in Go Read

by Anuruddha Hettiarachchi for Benetech

A print disabled person by definition refers to someone who cannot effectively read print because of a visual, physical, perceptual, developmental, cognitive, or learning disability. Currently ‘Go Read’ focuses on a visually impaired audience, missing several other categories of the print disabled especially the print disabled due to physical disabilities. Tecla Access is a set of tools that facilitate switch access to mobile devices for people with mobility impairments (physical disabilities). Making Go Read Tecla accessible will help it serve an extended community of the print disabled.
