We would like to use the fedora irc bot [1] on #fedora-ruby to log conversations and provide Fedora admin and querying functionality.

As instructed by the wiki page the student should inquire on #fedora-admin to add the #fedora-ruby channel to the bot's channel list, and should see that through.

If there are no responses on #fedora-admin, the student should request assistance from the mentor, who will forward the student directly to particular individuals in the Fedora infrastructure.

If it turns out the fedora-bot cannot be used for #fedora-ruby, this task will be marked as complete, and we will investigate setting up another bot in another task.
