The goal of this task is to assist me with planning the global release parties for KDE's 4.8 release.

To complete the task the following needs to be done:

* create a page in the wiki at community.kde.org where people can add their parties

* write a guest blog post advertising the parties and asking for organizers on my blog

* write and submit a story for dot.kde.org announcing the parties and asking for organizers

All of the above is available for previous release parties. You can use those as inspiration.
