ASCEND is an open source modeling language and solver software used to solve linear or nonlinear systems of inequalities. The modeling features described previously enables ASCEND to formulate complex problems in physics or chemistry that can transferred to open solvers or commercial solvers such as IPOPT, CONOPT or ORSLv.
