Create an overview of the NetBSD kernel source layout
The NetBSD Project
Status: Closed
Time to complete: 96 hrs
Mentors: Aleksej Saushev, Julian Fagir
There is the man page hier(7), which describes the directory layout of a running NetBSD system.
To make it easier for beginners to find things inside kernel source (sys, src/sys), an equivalent document for the NetBSD kernel source would be required.
Even if you're not fond with mdoc, researching this and gathering the information (e.g. in plain ASCII or markdown) would be a great benefit, and somebody who likes mdoc can then convert it to a system manpage.

Hi Julian,
Nice to see you again :)
I'm doubting whether to write documents for files in "Attic". The files are not included in the freshest branch, but they might be used someday.
Could you please tell me how should I deal with that?
Thank you.
