Create smaller NetBSD artworks The NetBSD Project
Status: Closed Time to complete: 24 hrs Mentors: Julian Coleman, Julian Fagir Tags: graphics

NetBSD does not have much artwork. Except from the aforementioned wallpapers and icons sets, multiple smaller artworks would be nice as well.
This includes drawing comics, creating a CD label, the image of a flash drive with NetBSD on it or e.g. a Beastie with a NetBSD flash drive, such things.

I would like to work on this task.

Julian Fagir on November 26 2012 23:01 UTC Ok

Hi,

ok. You can see some of the prior artwork, at least for the logo, here: http://netbsd.org/gallery/logos.html

The old logo is a nice example of which kind of artwork we expect. Or e.g. here the daemon in the upper right: http://netbsd.org/docs/

Or the beastie reading books here: http://www.freebsd.org/docs.html

Just think of a good artwork that could be used somewhere and make it. With a flag or a beastie or anything NetBSD related in it, maybe some specific computer. If you want to think of a new mascot, just do it, but it should obviously be related to NetBSD.

Regards, Julian
